ANNUAL CHARITY TOURNAMENT
Dear Parent/ Student
Each year we raise money for our chosen charity, the wonderful St Oswald’s hospice. St Oswald’s is a local charity who give specialist Hospice Care for adults, babies, children and young adults from across the North East of England.
This year’s charity tournament is on Saturday 30th May at Kenton School sports centre, Drayton Road, Kenton NE3 3RU. You can register on the link below. The entry fee is £18. Even if you don’t want to participate, we need volunteers – bakers, pastry chefs, cake makers, baristas!! – any skill to help the day go smoothly and raise lots of money. Details are on the attached poster.
This tournament is a great way of getting your first competitive experience, and may give you or your child the motivation to enter more competitions.
We will need all black belts to help with coaching and refereeing on the day, so please make yourself available.
