TAE Umpires Course – Sunday 13th May 2012

Venue: Westgate Centre for Sport, Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Time: 10am-1pm (to be confirmed)

1st kups and above

This session is being held to support the forthcoming TAE Team Championships. It is important that as many as possible attend this session.

Dress code: to be confirmed (this will be either formal black belt dress or dobok).

Please bring doboks, belts and sparring kit (it may also be advisable to bring drinks and a snack).

Cost: £10 cash ONLY on the day.

Black Belt Training on Sunday 6th May 2012

Time: 9am – 10.50am

Venue: Reflex TKD, 2 Park Road, Whitley Bay, NE 26 1LT

£10 cash ONLY on the day please.

This session will concentrate on Ho Sin Sul and sparring. Please bring full sparring kit.

This session replaces the one scheduled for Sunday 29th April.

Please pass on this information to all red belts within your club and any black belts not on the mailing list.

The All Saints hall is being used for the local elections on Thursday so there will be no training that evening. Please feel free to attend one of the other  classes available

the venue is smaller than usual so entry will be a first come first served basis, and restricted to red and blackbelts in the first instance. Please contact Mr Mckenna as soon as possible if you wish to attend

The next grading will be on FRIDAY 16 MARCH at 6.00PM.

the venue will be KENTON SCHOOL SPORTS CENTRE on Kenton Lane

Mr Mckenna will inform you if you have reached the correct standard to take the test.

• ensure you know all of your patterns
• Learn your Korean terminology
• practise the set sparring for your grade

The first Black Belt Training session of 2012 will be held on Sunday 4th March at Mr. Stonach’s dojang (Reflex UK School of Taekwon-Do, 2, Park Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, NE26 1LT). The session will run from 10.00am – 12noon and will cost £10 (cash only on the day please).

The session is open to red belts and above and is important for all those wishing to grade/pre-test at the end of March
